ORDINANCE 03-02
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF ANDERSON CODE OF ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO 1.04.060, 1.12.020 - PENALTIES, 1.24.010 (A) AND 1.24.030 (5)..
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANDERSON, ALASKA, THAT:
Section 1. This ordinance is of permanent nature and shall become a part of the City Code upon adoption and ratification.
Section 2. Section 1.04.060 Boundaries is hereby amended as follows:
1.04.060 Boundaries. The boundaries of the city are as follows:
Beginning at a point of the extreme NW corner of Sec. 31, T6S, R8W, Fairbanks Meridian, proceeding there from due east a distance of 3 miles, to a point on the extreme NE corner of Sec. 33, T6S, R8W, Fairbanks Meridian, then proceeding [therefrom] there from due south a distance of one mile to a point on the extreme SW corner of Sec. 34, T6S, R8W, Fairbanks Meridian, then proceeding [therefrom] there from a distance of some 3.8 miles to a point one mile of the centerline of the Fairbanks-Anchorage Highway, also known as the George Parks Highway, the proceeding south along a line one mile from the centerline of said highway, until such line intercepts with the township line common to T7S and T8S, Fairbanks Meridian, then proceeding there from due west a distance of some four miles to the west bank of the Nenana River, then following such bank north until such bank intercepts with the township line common to T6S and T8S, then proceeding some 1.9 miles to the extreme SW corner of Sec. 31, T6S and R8S, Fairbanks Meridian, then proceeding due north [therefrom]there from a distance of one mile to the point of beginning, encompassing an area of approximately 28,060 acres.

Section 1.12.020 Penalties of the City of Anderson Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1.12.020 Penalties. A. Every act prohibited by ordinance of the city is unlawful. Unless other penalty is expressly provided by this code for any particular provision or section, every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this code, or any rule or regulation adopted or issued in pursuance thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than three [hundred] thousand dollars. Unless otherwise specifically provided, upon second conviction such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than five [hundred] thousand dollars, or not more than thirty days imprisonment, or both. Each act of violation and every day upon which such violation occurs shall constitute a separate.
Section 1.24.010 (A). Definitions is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1.24.010 Definitions.
A. "Record means any document, record paper, letter, file, book, account, photograph, microfilm, microfiche, map, drawing, chart, card, magnetic media, electronic format, or computer print-out, or other document of any material, regardless of physical form or characteristic, created or acquired under law or in connection with the transaction of official business and preserved or appropriate for preservation by the city, as evidence of the organization, function, policies, decision, procedures, operations, or other activities of the city or because of the information value in them. "Record" does not include extra copies of documents made or preserved solely for convenience of reference, or for public distribution.
Section 1.24.030 (5) Duties of City Clerk is hereby amended as follows:
5). [Secure and maintain at least one copy of the Alaska Statues and one copy of the Denali Borough Code, and make them available for public inspection.] Electronic format copies of the Alaska Statutes and Denali Borough Code shall be made available for public inspection.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect on June 5, 2003
