If you are unsure of your precinct location, please use the Alaska Secretary of State Precinct Finder online. After answering a few questions about your home address, the tool will provide your precinct number, the location where you will vote, and a list of district elections you are eligible to participate in.

Where do I apply for a dog or cat license?

Dog and cat licenses are handled by the city clerk's office. Forms are available at city hall. All dogs and cats need a license that is good for that animal's life.

Can I reserve Riverside Park's pavillion for personal events?

🌳 Pavilion Reservation Information

Yes, you can reserve the pavilion for your event.

Fee: $75.00 for non-residents
No charge for residents, but reservations are still required to secure your spot. Otherwise, use is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do I need a burn permit and where can I get one?

🔥 Burn Permit Requirements – City of Anderson

The City of Anderson requires burn permits for both brush burning and burn barrels.

General burn permits are required from April 1 through August 31 each year.
