ROLL CALL The Regular Meeting of the Anderson City Council was called to order by Mayor Keith Fetzer at 6:30 PM.
AGENDA APPROVAL M/S K. Southwood/D. Miller moved to approve the agenda.
No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Minutes M/S K. Southwood/S. Thompson moved to approve the minutes from the following meeting: Regular Meeting, November 11, 2008
No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Correspondence Mayor Fetzer reported that he received a letter from Doug Poage of Village Safe Water concerning the Anderson Sewer Project. The project could be pushed back a year if funding is not received. Mayor Fetzer reminded all council members about the Council Training on December 17, 2008 at 6:00pm in the council chambers. Denali Borough will also be attending this training.
Financial Reports M/S K. Southwood/D. Miller moved to receive the financial reports for November 2008. There was discussion. D. Miller asked about expenditures from his department Public Safety. Motion passed unanimously.
Bills to be Paid M/S K. Southwood/M. McKenzie moved to approve the Bills to be paid for November 2008. There were questions on the IRS, Six Rubble’s, and Petty cash checks. There was no further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Public Access None
Council Comments Paul Dempster asked if there were any plans to put in a gas line when the sewer project was being put in. Mayor Fetzer stated that there had been talk of it, but that it would not happen.
Reports
Department Reports Karen Southwood reported that the clinic apartment was rented out and that it had been re-keyed. Need to find out how long the tenant will be renting it.
Dave Miller stated that volunteers were needed for the fire department. The meeting scheduled for this month will be re-scheduled until next month.
Keith Fetzer reported that there will be a part time/temp position open for public works. The job will be posted this week. The person hired would also be trained to take care of the Lagoon. Village Safe Water will pay to have this person trained. Mayor Fetzer also asked that all Department heads work on a pay scale. We need to have something in place by this summer. Mayor Fetzer also stated that the city office will be closing on noon Dec. 24, 2008 and Dec. 31, 2008.
Old Business
City Audit
M/S K. Southwood/ S. Thompson moved to accept the City Audit. Discussion; Mayor Fetzer went over the Audit and reported that anything that needed to be corrected had been. Mayor Fetzer also stated that Dave Miller would be put on the First National Bank account. There was no further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.

Letter
A letter was sent to Mr. Irving regarding the land survey. Samantha Thompson will follow up on this and see if anything has been filed with DNR.
Northern Lights
Subdivision Intent Mayor Fetzer reported that a letter had been sent out to the lot owners. This letter was just to get an idea of what the lot owner’s intent was. Reponses should be received by the end of December 2008.
NEW BUSINESS
Dew Drop Liquor
License Renewal M/S K. Southwood/ P. Dempster moved to approve the liquor license renewal for the Dew Drop. Discussion; Dave Miller asked if they were in compliance with the state and if there had ever been any violations. No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
