Anderson 

A resolution by the Anderson City Council, hereinafter the “Council”, to adopt a business plan for the community wastewater collection and disposal system;

Whereas; the Council of Anderson, is the governing body of the community of Anderson,

Whereas; the Council seeks to protect its drinking water wells and the groundwater quality and thus seeks to construct a community wastewater collection and disposal system,

Whereas, the Council seeks to enter into a funding agreement with the State of Alaska Village Safe Water Program to construct such a wastewater system;

Whereas; the Council is required to adopt a wastewater collection and disposal business plan in order to use VSW grant funds to construct said wastewater system;

Whereas; the Council seeks to operate the above said wastewater system only if it is fiscally feasible and does not impose an undue burden on community residents or the City;

Whereas; the City of Anderson Community Wastewater Utility Business Plan 2008, is a utility business plan that is fiscally feasible and does not impose undue burden;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Council approves and adopts theCity of Anderson Community Wastewater Utility Business Plan 2008.
