Reports
School Principal William Beaudion reported on the following; The school is operating on a $3.5 million dollar budget, it’s less than last years. The 22nd of February is a public meeting in Healy on the plans and changes for the next year’s budget. The School is involved in the long term projects. Number one is curriculum, the school district doesn’t have set curriculum model, next would be math and then reading projects.
A $12,000 dollar grant is going to be in budget for the projects. Jon Bailey is working on a lightening project at the school it could cost about $8,000 dollars and would save the school between $5,000 and $10,000 dollars just in the light cost. Next project would be motors.
Good news, the school has its first graduate for the year Michael Sutton.
