RESOLUTION 03-11

A RESOLUTION EXTENDING APPRECIATION AND GRATITUDE TO RICHARD NAPOLEONE FOR THE TIME AND ENERGY HE DEDICATED TO THE CITY OF ANDERSON.

WHEREAS, Richard Napoleone has faithfully performed the duties as the Mayor and council member of the City of Anderson; and

WHEREAS, Richard could be counted on by the community and fellow council members to honestly and vigorously defend his ideas of what was best for the people of the City of Anderson; and

WHEREAS, there is no question that the aforementioned service came at the expense of other important pursuits in his life; and

WHEREAS, Richard has served as the Mayor from December of 1994 thru August 2001 and as a member of the city council since November 1992.

AND WHEREAS, Richard was instrumental in the development and betterment of the Riverside Park and annual Bluegrass Festival.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Anderson City Council extends its appreciation to Richard Napoleone for his faithful service to the people of the City of Anderson.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Anderson City Council wishes him the best in the future.

PASSED AND APPROVED by the CITY OF ANDERSON CITY COUNCIL this 9th day of January 2003.
