ROLL CALL The Regular Meeting of the Anderson City Council was called to order by Mayor Mike Pearson at
AGENDA APPROVAL M/S D. Frisbie/A. Archer moved to approve the agenda. There was no further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Minutes No minutes.
Correspondence AML correspondence concerning PERS. .
Financial Reports M/S D. Frisbie/A. Archer moved to receive the financial reports for February 2007. Financial report will be discussed later in the report No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Bills to be Paid M/S A. Archer/D. Frisbie moved to approve the Bills to be Paid for February 2007. There was no further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Public Access Deana Browning representative from Denali Builders and Reggie Dallaire representative from Northern Lights Construction, Inc wanted to find out what was happening with the lots. They stated that they have received a lot of phone inquiries on their product. They will set up a presentation on Monday morning for the applicants that apply for the free lot.
Karen Southwood reported that there will be a fundraiser on Saturday for the Public Safety department. The new ambulance and fire truck will be on display.
Mayor Dave Talerico Mayor Talerico reported on the following:
1. HB 95.
2. Arrangements have been made with another scrap metal outfit to pick up the vehicles at the dump.
School Report
1. High School students have become media stars.
2. 3rd Quarter ends this Friday.
3. Testing dates for the students are the first week of April
4. March 29th will be Parent Teachers Conference.
5. No intensives this spring.
6. New student in the Junior High.
7. Student count is at 58.
8. Graduation is June 1st.

M/S M. Berry/D. Frisbie moved to allow the Witte family to hold a wedding reception at
Environmental City clerk reported that Will Lausen from Lausen Disposable had contacted her regarding whether we could give him a break on the costs with their customers. She stated that several residents have serious problems with their septics and that they are being pumped several times a week. Mr. Lausen stated that he would charge only for 1,000 gallons instead of the actual gallons pumped, which is closer to 2,000 gallons. He wanted to know if the city would be willing to only charge him for the 1,000 gallons instead of the actual amount pumped. This would be a savings to the residents of our community.
M/S A, Archer/M. Berry moved to authorize Lausens to dump additional sewer at the lower costs as long as the system has the capacity to accept the volume. No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Public Safety Chief Thompson stated that we had two calls in February. He also stated that he is working with Jim Siddual on the mutual aid agreements between Clear and
Public Works Mayor Pearson reported that the city and clinic sewer systems were frozen. We are trying to close out the rock crusher grant. .
OLD BUSINESS
Surveying The surveyor called the city office today; he stated that he has some as built surveys to do and that he would then be able to submit it to the state.
High Water Problems Mayor Pearson stated that three individuals came to

Amended FY07 Budget Clerk Hollis reviewed the changes in the FY07 amended budget. She stated that she would like to see it on the agenda for next month. She stated that she made some minor changes from last month.

1. If you were a successful applicant and the applicants choice of lot is no longer available, do they get their deposit back. The answer was yes, they can receive their deposit back until they actually enter into an agreement.
2. When do you plan on issuing the numbers? Some suggestions, comments and questions were:
1. Line will form on the handicap access.
2. Hiring someone to monitor the process overnight.
3. Organize the parking lot.
4. When does the first come, first served start?
5. Date stamp as they come in to stand in line.
6. Drawing numbers at start time.

Council Person Frisbie commented that the original intent of this land give away was to get more families into our community,
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution 07-10
Headcount Census M/S M. Berry/A. Archer moved to approve Resolution 07-10 Head count census with a numbered to be determined after the completion of the census by the Mayor. Clerk Hollis estimated that the number would be between 530 and 550. No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
Condemning of Properties Mayor Pearson stated that everyone should review this document and it will be discussed more in detail at our next meeting.
Resignation of Council
Member Allen Miller M/S A. Archer/M. Berry moved to accept the resignation of Allen Miller. Mayor Pearson thanked Allen for his time. No further discussion. Motion passed unanimously.
