2.20.010 Powers and duties of the city clerk.
A. The city clerk shall be the Clerk of the Council. He/She, or an authorized representative, shall attend all meetings of the council and keep a record of its proceedings.
B. He/She shall record and certify all action of the council.
C. He/She shall have the power to administer all oaths required by law.
D. He/She shall be the custodian of the city seal and the official records of the city.
E. He/She shall give the proper officials ample notice of the expiration or termination of any term of office.
F. He/She shall be responsible for the calling and supervision of all city elections, unless otherwise provided by law.
G. He/She shall perform such other duties in connection with his office as may be required of him by law or by the council. (Ord. 100 §5.04.05, 1981; Ordinance 95-04)
