            2.08.010   Purposes.  The provisions of this chapter are for the purpose of structuring and organizing the government of the city.  (Ord. 100 §5.01.00, 1981)

            2.08.020    Departments.   The administrative function of the city shall be directed and supervised by the Mayor in accordance with ordinances and resolutions of the city council and shall be organized in the following departments:

                                    A.   Administration;

                                    B.   Public works;

                                    C.   Public safety;

                                    D.   Health and Social services;

                                    E.   Land;   

                                    F.   Environmental;

                                    G.   (repealed);

                                    H.   (repealed);

                                    I.   (repealed);

2.08.040   Public works.   The Department of Public works shall consist of the following:

                                    A.   City Streets and Roads;

                                    B.   Building Maintenance;

                                    C.   (repealed);

            2.08.050    Public Safety.   The division of public safety shall consist of the following departments:

                                    A.   Emergency Medical Services;

                                    B.   Fire;

                                    C.   Civil Defense;

            2.08.060    Health and Social Services.   The Department of Health and Social Services shall consist of the following:
